FTECH Workwear
FTECH workwear is technologically engineered fabric built for functionality, strength and also taking into account the comfort of the wearers. BAIR Solutions are the sole distributor of FTECH Workwear to PNG.
With its double-structured yarns of polyester core short fibre (30%), wrapped with cotton (70%) on the exterior, the fabric is superior in strength yet maintains the comfort of cotton. The smart yarn structure design makes it breathable and light, that not only absorbs but transfers sweat from the body to the outside of the fabric making it ideal for the hot, tropical climates of the Asia Pacific.
FTECH workwear’s main function is moisture wicking, keeping the body dry which allows the body’s natural cooling system of sweating to occur without PPE sticking to the body and blocking this function. This has a major benefit to help reduce heat fatigue.

FTECH is engineered to elevate protection against Heat Stress, even under extreme conditions.
One of the main functions of FTECH is moisture management. The double structure yarns in our fabric, absorbs sweat in hot & humid conditions. This has a huge comfort factor for workers as it keeps them dry, comfortable & focused on the job at hand.
The lightness and the construct of the FTECH fabric makes it easy to care for and requires far less energy for laundry and over all care, 25% more garments per wash & 50% less drying time than that of 100% cotton PPE.
FTECH is engineered for comfort in tough working conditions. It not only absorbs sweat but also transfers it to the outer layer for evaporation, thus keeping the wearer dry, cool and comfortable while working.
FTECH fabric doesn’t shrink while washing, it is easy to care for and doesn’t require regular ironing and is able to be industrial laundered.
The double-structure yarn technique of the FTECH fabric makes it much stronger than regular cotton thus FTECH workwear lasts longer (double the tear strength of similar weight 100% cotton).
FTECH fabric has excellent colour fastness and doesn’t lose colour easily. Making the fabric look new for longer (Japan dying & finishing as opposed to China dying & finishing).
